Bradley J. Daniels, Ph.D., ABPP(Rp) is a Rehabilitation Neuropsychologist and proud affiliate of Neurocognitive Consultants of Orlando. He has multiple areas of clinical practice including Rehabilitation Psychology, Neuropsychology, and Forensics. He specializes in the assessment and treatment of persons (and their families) who have experienced traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury (SCI), stroke (CVA), and other neurological injuries resulting in disability.

Dr. Daniels has been recognized for his excellence in clinical practice, having been awarded the American Psychological Association’s Division 22 (Rehabilitation Psychology) Early Career Practice Award in 2020, as well as the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) Early Career Psychologist (ECP) Service Award in 2021. He currently serves as Vice President of the American Board of Rehabilitation Psychology (ABRP) and has chaired multiple committees through APA’s Rehabilitation Psychology Division (22).

He also has extensive work experience as a contract examiner for the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), conducting initial and review evaluations for veterans seeking service-connected disability, including but not limited to medico-legal record review, comprehensive evaluation (particularly PTSD), test interpretation, and independent medical opinions. He also has experience with forensic evaluations in both criminal and civil contexts.

After having graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Central Florida, Dr. Daniels attended graduate school at the University of Florida, completing his doctorate in Clinical Psychology with an area of concentration in “Neuropsychology, Neurorehabilitation, and Clinical Neuroscience” in 2011. He also completed an APA-accredited year-long predoctoral internship in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Neuropsychology at the University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB) Psychology Internship Training Consortium, where upon completion he was awarded the C.J. Rosecrans “Intern of the Year” Award for Outstanding Promise in the Field of Clinical Psychology in 2010. He then completed an APA-accredited 2-year postdoctoral residency in Rehabilitation Psychology at the James A. Haley (Tampa, Florida) Veterans Hospital. After becoming licensed in 2012, he worked as a Rehabilitation Neuropsychologist for approximately ten years in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting for Orlando Health, Central Florida’s only Level 1 Trauma Center. In 2014, Dr. Daniels obtained specialty board certification in Rehabilitation Psychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP), joining the ranks of the approximately 4 percent of licensed psychologists to hold any form of specialty board certification. Dr. Daniels also has a passion for teaching, having taught undergraduate psychology courses at multiple institutions since 2006 including the University of Central Florida (UCF) and Rollins College.

As a native Floridian born and raised in the Orlando area, Dr. Daniels is also committed to giving back to the community he loves. He currently volunteers as a board member for both the Central Florida Brain Injury Support Group (CFBISG) as well as the Greater Orlando Spinal Cord Injury Network (GOSCIN).

While physically based in the Central Florida area, Dr. Daniels also has Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) and Temporary Authorization to Practice (TAP) through the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT). PSYPACT is an interstate compact which offers a voluntary expedited pathway for practice to qualified psychologists who wish to practice in multiple (currently 42 participating) states.
